City Volkswagen of Evanston is the very place where new owners Anthony Scala and Shawn Kohli met in 2001. Anthony was a porter during the summers while playing college basketball and Shawn was a full-time salesperson putting himself through DePaul. From the day they met, Anthony and Shawn saw the car business from a different perspective and vowed to do things differently if they ever had a store of their own. Fast forward nearly 20 years, they’re first generation car dealers making the car-buying and servicing experience transparent, convenient, and fun! Anthony and Shawn have many locals ties as they both grew up in the area and still live locally. They believe in not only servicing the local community but actually being a part of it. They look forward to making City Volkswagen of Evanston the best VW dealer in the state and being a staple in Evanston and the surrounding communities.
